Snuggles

It all started when my dogs were burrowing in my bed, hiding under my pillows and under the covers. They love to play hide and seek or simply take a nap.

Tired of remaking my bed over and over, I decided to make something they would enjoy to play and sleep in.  I found the right pattern but put my own spin on the section of the fabric combinations. I created my own look for the snuggle sacks.  And now seldom make the same combination twice on any of my snuggles.

I had so much fun with the sacs, I decided to try my hand at a bed, so have now created my own snuggle bed.  The top purposely flops down over them for the snuggle effect.  Again the dogs loved it!!!

I have added just a few blankets just for fun!!!

My latest project is my new "Doggie Tote".  Designed to take your dog anywhere, leaving your hands free.  An extra long strap made to cross the body adds to the security and comfort to carry the dogs. I have used denim jeans to make the totes. This tote is multi-purpose to take your dog, cat, ferret, etc. with you.  You could also use it as a purse, book or computer tote. 

Each tote is unique.  The size of the tote is determined by the waist size of the jeans.  Each tote is fully lined, some with faux fur or fleece for warmth and snuggly effect (they love the feel of this).  They also enjoy the silk, satin cotton or minky dot/ swirl fabrics.  The straps are wide and soft lined with coordinating fabric to provide comfort for carrying the weight of your pet.  Some totes are more purse like with pockets and/or dividers inside the tote.  Each tote/purse is embellished with appliques, sparkles, embroidery, lace, blings or maybe just plain.

Most all of the pockets are open and useable, but the front pockets, when you put your hand in on one it can extend all the way out the other front pocket.  Depending on the size of the tote, they will easily accommodate a dog from 4lbs to 8lbs or maybe 2 small dogs.

Laundry instructions for all products:  Machine wash on delicate cycle, cold water.  Tumble dry on low heat.
